Cora, one of my younger cousins, is getting married in June. Her bridal shower was on Saturday, May 3 at East Buffet in Flushing. My Aunt Betty got them to give us a private “room”, there were partitions put up to separate us from the big room, though that didn’t stop two little party crashers.
The shower started with a banquet style meal, leading to games and ending with present time. I think the most popular game was Bingo. We all got into it, you and old. Bridal Pictionary was tougher. I was at a table with adults and of course I went first and had to draw “strippers”. My team couldn’t guess it, but the other team did.
