Maybe Ming and Kin will have a first dance like this couple…
You know you’re tired when you wake up and try to turn your TV on with your Blackberry. At least it’s Thursday, the weekend is right around the corner.
We’ve been trying to have dinner with Elaine and Vinny for the last few past weekends and we were finally able to meet up tonight for some eatery.
Over some barbecued duck flatbread (pretty good, but hard to cut through the flatbread), mac & jack (I highly recommend), beef tenderloin medallions (cooked exactly the way I like it, medium-rare), apple marinated pork tenderloin, maple braised beef short ribs and sweet potato fries, we caught up on how we were all doing, how our mutual friends were doing and to talk about our friends, Kin and Ming’s, recent engagement. Hooray for them!
The food was great and among our many topics of discussion, we hope to vacation together next year, after Henry has graduated, but we’ll have to find a good spot where our dollar will still be worth something. =(
Henry stumbled upon this Japanese game where I think you are given eight elements to build a society and you have to place them in the right order in your little island. As you place the items, different items will level up. I think to win the level you have to max out all the levels before you can advance to another level. As you advance, there are more elements to be placed. And this is only what I think, because the English instructions are very sparse and we can’t read the Japanese ones.

In case you are wondering, you can kill your man, if you wait too long and the girl rejects him. Henry hasn’t done that, but I have. He turns from yellow to gray and then just lays there unresponsive, poor little man.
Also if you should get a UFO, that’s not a good thing either.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
I’m spending my Thanksgiving in PA at Dada’s with her two kids and their three cousins. It’s fun watching them trying to play Mario Party 8 on the Wii.
We’re going to have a big feast, with turkey and a honey ham. Not sure what else yet, but all the Sham feast’s are filled with variety and big portions. We will all be feeling a food coma after our huge feast!
Update: We finished our Thanksgiving feast a little after 6:30. Dada and Steve did all the cooking. Everything was fantastic and right now Steve and Perry are asleep. The funny part is now the Wii is back on but Henry’s parents are playing. They are playing tennis and it is really pretty hilarious. =)
