I just saw on MLB.com that Andy Pettitte is coming back to the New York Yankees for at least one year. He was with the Houston Astros the last three seasons. For the one year, he will be making $16 million. Pettitte has to pass a physical exam.

I wonder if Roger Clemens is going to follow Pettitte to the Yankees. When Clemens left the Yankees to “retire”, he came out of retirement and joined the Astros soon after Pettitte.

I liked Pettitte and will be happy to have him back. I’m lukewarm about Clemens.

I talked to Henry and he actually isn’t thrilled because Pettitte is old (34 years old) and Clemens is even older (44 years old).
