It’s been a pretty lame Halloween this year. I haven’t really seen any interesting costumes, though I did see three grown adults standing at a street corner dressed as the Incredibles and a kid going to school dresses in an orange jump suit, like a prison uniform. I saw some adorable little kids on the street too. But alas, once again, no little trick-or-treaters at my door.

I was waiting for Nora in front of the NYSC on 41st between 7th and 8th and Frenchie Davis walks out, a little after 6pm. I called Henry to tell him, but he says that she doesn’t really count as a celebrity. The first time we saw Rent years ago (I guess back in 2003 when she was disqualified from American Idol), she was part of the cast. She was pretty amazing.

A quick search on Google tells me that she is back on Rent. It’s never too late to go watch Rent.

I bought myself the Motorola KRZR K1m Phone for my birthday. Verizon’s cost is $249.99 but I got it with a $50 online discount and I got $100 off because Verizon has that “New Every Two” deal. I really wanted the Motorola KRZR K1 Cosmic Blue Phone (Unlocked), but couldn’t justify the cost to myself just because I like the blue color more. Too bad.

So far I don’t have any problems with the phone, but I haven’t tried playing MP3s off of it yet. I will hopefully test that out sometime this week.

It’s that time of year again (for most of us in the US), we have to turn our clocks back an hour. But it will be the last time we will in October. There was a law that passed last year that will have daylight savings starting earlier and ending later. We will spring forward during the second Sunday in March and fall back on the first Sunday in November. So we’re going to lose an hour starting March 11.
